with a product that explains itself

DemoOwl learns your product by using it, the way a new hire would. From then on, Show demos it to prospects, Guide walks new users through it, and Answer fixes support tickets, all inside your product. Your team stops giving the same walkthrough twice a day.

Bring a URL and a test login. DemoOwl does the rest.

Guide

Walk users through it, step by step.

Product tours point at a button. DemoOwl Guide reads the question the user typed, lights up the field they need, and waits while they fill it in, then moves to the next one. When you ship a change that moves that field, Guide fixes its own steps. Your team doesn’t touch it.

Points at the spotA tooltip on the exact field or button. The user does the click.
Survives your releasesYou moved the role picker in 4.19. Guide rewrote step three before anyone filed a ticket.
Nothing to scriptNo recordings, no scripts, no selectors. Add Guide to your app once, and it reads the steps off the live map DemoOwl already built.
Answer

Resolve the ticket by doing the thing.

A help-center link hands the work back to the customer. DemoOwl Answer does it for them. It lives in whatever desk you already use, and when the fix is something it’s allowed to make, it makes it on the customer’s account and closes the ticket. When it isn’t, say a refund or a plan change, Answer hands the ticket to your team with everything it found, so a person can say yes in a minute instead of digging for twenty.

Stays in the threadReplies inside the ticket the customer opened, in the desk your team already runs.
Knows your productEvery reply comes from a live map of your product. Real plans, real settings, the screen your customer is looking at.
You draw the linesDecide what needs a human: refunds, plan changes, anything. Answer hands those over with the details, wherever your team works, and someone approves in minutes.

Your product has to explain itself.
Right now your team does it by hand.

Everyone’s on an onboarding call

Two founders and a couple of support folks running every onboarding call and answering the same twelve tickets. It works at 50 customers. Somewhere around 500 it stops.

Guide takes the call, Answer takes the ticket.

People get stuck before they get the point

They sign up, poke around, and leave, because no one showed them where the feature was.

Guide shows them.

You ship on Tuesday. The docs are from March.

Every release breaks a tour, a macro, or a help page, and somebody has to notice before a customer does.

Guide and Answer fix themselves the same afternoon.

DemoOwl learns by using, and rebuilds when you ship.

Most tools read your help docs. DemoOwl uses the product. It signs in, clicks through every screen, and learns each workflow the way a new hire would in their first week, only faster. What it learns becomes a live map of your product, and Show, Guide, and Answer all work from that map. When you ship, DemoOwl goes back in, sees what moved, and updates everything that depended on it. Your docs, tours, and answers stay current on their own.

Questions we get a lot.

What is DemoOwl?

DemoOwl opens your product and learns how it works, every screen and workflow, by using it. It keeps that as a live map. Guide walks new users through your app. Answer sorts out support tickets. Four more run on the same map: Show, Write, Check, and Signals.

How is Guide different from a product tour?

A tour points at a button in a fixed order and breaks when the button moves. Guide answers the question the user actually asked, lights up the right field in the live product, and updates itself when you ship.

How is Answer different from a support bot?

A support bot searches your help center and pastes a link. Answer makes the fix on the customer’s account and tells them what it did. If it’s not allowed to make that fix, it hands the ticket to a person with the details.

Do we need to build or record anything?

No. Give DemoOwl a URL and a test login. DemoOwl learns your product by using it, and Show is ready to send. Putting Guide and Answer inside your app is a short install for your engineers, and after that there’s nothing to script or record.

What happens when we ship?

DemoOwl is connected to GitHub, Linear, Jira, or Asana, so it knows what changed. The walkthroughs and answers that touched that part rebuild themselves. Anything that needs a human call gets flagged to whoever owns it.

Is our data secure?

DemoOwl only reads what it needs to run Guide and Answer, and we don’t share your data with anyone. We use standard encryption and access controls and are working toward SOC 2. Happy to walk your security team through it.

Your last onboarding call. Ever.

Give DemoOwl a URL and a test login. Once it knows your product, drop Guide into your app, and you’ve got your afternoon back.
